Hello, I’m Mark Lurie. I’m always thinking deeply to build a better future.

I’m the CEO & Co-Founder of Shipyard Software. Shipyard Software builds decentralized exchanges (DEX) for specific types of trades, traders, and instruments, starting with Clipper, a DEX with the best prices anywhere on retail trades. I am an entrepreneur and investor who previously founded two venture-backed startups, Codex Protocol and Lofty.

I am currently a Venture Partner at FJLabs, a board member of GMO Trust (issuer of GYEN, the first Yen-backed stablecoin), and a board member of the Foundation for Art & Blockchain (a 501c3 nonprofit). I’m also the host of the podcast, WTF, Crypto, where I chat with experts in the industry about how the biggest developments in crypto affect traders.

Previously, I was an investor at Bessemer Venture Partners, where my investments included Twilio (NYSE: TWLO). I have an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Harvard College.
